One of our core business aims is to expand access to alternative leather materials. We know that we need to urgently rethink our relationship with consumption and address the entire production chain of various goods. Only this way will we thrive as a society and to rebalance the ecosystem that we’re part of.
To do that, we needed to expand our operations to be present not just in China, but also in South America. As a biodiversity hotspot, Brazil was an obvious choice.
Brazil birthed the partnership with our footwear friends, Ahimsa, a brand and manufacturer that centres its philosophy around love. Our official partnership launched in April 2024, and is not just about creating products. It's about developing a sustainable, fashionable, and ethically progressive future for all.
By merging Veshin's vision with Ahimsa’s approach, we're addressing key Sustainable Development Goals. And together, we’re forging a path for conscious manufacturing, setting a new standard in the industry for the benefit of the planet and its people.

Founded in 2013, Ahimsa is an alternative leather footwear brand and manufacturer that prioritizes love.
We believe that in order to thrive as a society and to rebalance the ecosystem of which we are a part, it is urgent to rethink our consumption and pay attention to the entire production chain of various goods. We opened the doors to our own factory as it was uncomfortable knowing that our products, which initially were outsourced, were being produced by a third party which did not fully share our beliefs. So, we started our own factory.
When we began, we were the world's first 100% alternative leather footwear factory, and we currently occupy a 1300m2 of space in the Industrial District of Franca (SP), a city internationally recognized for its leather shoes and goods.
Ironic, isn't it? But it's by occupying these spaces and markets that we believe it's possible to expand the reach of the alternative leather philosophy in the fashion industry. Once everything was up and running, it was only fair we opened our own doors to others who shared our values, and sought a similar manufacturing facility.
